In an effort to further expand defence cooperation, India and the U.K. have renewed the Defence Equipment Memorandum between the two countries. The Memorandum of Understanding renews a previous Defence Equipment Cooperation MoU signed on April 1, 1997 which was renewed on April 20, 2007.
