Dedication and focus along with the positive outlook towards life is the key mantra of his success.

He always talked about hard work but in smart way to achieve success especially in such a diverse paper like UPSC.

He started his preparations during the last semester of his degree and he often says one must do start early.

Initially, one should glance through basic NCERTs and Newspapers. Time management and self-motivation throughout the exam is the most crucial part due to uncertainty and unpredictability of examination. So an optimistic approach along with positive outlook is extremely important apart from other processes of Civil Services Exam.

As the Syllabus is huge, So one must do smart work rather than doing just hard work. According to him, intelligent guessing do well in Prelims rather than concrete and definite knowledge especially for such a lengthy syllabus of general studies in both Prelims and Mains.

Initially, he completed Prelims and Mains syllabus that was conversing and in intersection and later on with that part of Mains, Which was exclusive in nature.

About Essay or Answer Writing, he felt that ideas must be expressed in a clear and simple manner, he used to simplify things for examiner. He used to write basic introduction, content in bullet points and an optimistic conclusion for his answers.

He also did an extensive and comprehensive preparation while filling DAF and had taken many mock interviews.
